I Check My Email
I too am in a torrid affair with someone who knows my
soul as well as I do. It is a very frightening way to live. I get
up every morning and I can't function till I check my email. I feel

Story 42 - In Love With The Enemy
When the YU-NATO war began last year I watched it unfold
on my tv and began to realize that this was the first war in the history
of the world, where it would be possible to communicate with someone who
was actually suffering through a war via the magic of the internet.
I set about trying to find someone in Kosovo who spoke English (via ICQ)
but I couldn't find anyone, but this guy named Ratko kept appearing at
the top of my list. I didn't want to talk to a guy from Belgrade
after all, Serbs were the enemy! But despite the different parameters
I put in, he was always at the top of the list. Fine, I said. Fine, I'll

Charming
After an absolutely terrible marriage, a broken heart
in my 1st relationship right out of the box and spending the next 7 years
or so making it a point not to become attached to anyone, I decided that
it was time to at least open myself up to the possibility of a relationship
again. I put an ad on the web and developed a web site about myself. I
figured at the very least I could make some friends! Being a single mom
who is devoted to her kids & a Girl Scout Leader, I didn't have alot

Viktor and I have been together for nine months.
He is 16 and I am 15. We met last May on the chat. He seemed
very pleasant the first time we chatted and a few days later he called
me on the phone. We talked for a long time and it turned out that
both of us go the same square to play basketball frequently.

Until now I thought such things only happened in the
movies or fairy tales. True, I always hoped that somewhere, who knows
where, there is a man who is waiting just for me. Now I've found
him: I'm holding his hand every day, look at his face, touch him.
He is with me. Sometimes I think I may be dreaming it all, but reality
speaks for itself - we are together. None of this would have happened

For 8 years my spouse and I had lived happily. Suddenly

I first met Bob in a chat room about 6 years ago. He
lived in Pittsburgh, PA then; and I lived in Sayreville, NJ.
I enjoyed his conversation immensely; and soon we were chatting and leaving
emails almost every day. I was just separated and his fiancee had
recently left him. We needed each other emotionally at the time;
and we were always there for each other at any time of the day or night
regardless of the time necessary to get us through the current crisis.
